The 10-hour Down Under Wildlife Tour is the ideal afternoon/evening tour on which to encounter iconic Australian wildlife.

Travel the South Coast and Southern Highland in a luxury 4WD SUV in search of kangaroos, wallabies, platypi, opossums, wombats and koala bears (as well as a large variety of birds) in their natural settings. Birdwatchers will enjoy seeing parrots, lyrebirds, bowerbirds and kookaburras.

This fully-guided tour includes entry to all national parks and private farms, light lunch (with beverage), hearty dinner (excluding beverage), and 4WD SUV equipped with field guides, binoculars and spotlights.

There is a maximum of seven persons per vehicle on this tour.

Summary:

Tour includes hotel pickups and drop-offs within Sydney's Central Business District. Rates are per person in US dollars. Child rate applies to ages 2 through 14; infants under 2 are free when sitting on an adult's lap. Please reserve online or call us toll-free at 800-610-1096. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

The tour begins with a drive to the Southern Highlands in search of Australia's native animals and birds. Look for kangaroos and koala bears in the wild and search for platypi during afternoon and early evening hours. See colorful parrots, lyrebirds and bowerbirds while enjoying short walks through stunning scenery, rainforest pockets and the bushland. Enjoy a light lunch during a break from exploring.

As night falls, the SUV tour vehicle will be fitted with spotlights used to catch glimpses of wombats, opossums, gliders and many other nocturnal marsupials. Finish off a day of exploring with a hearty, country-style dinner before returning to Sydney.

This tour does not operate on January 1 and December 25.
